Main Features 

Moonshot Press, a dynamic, multi-platform media initiative, committed to empowering citizens and reshaping democratic engagement. We foster meaningful dialogues and explore human potential through digital channels like Substack, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media.

Three Deliberation Platforms

  1. The Citizen Brief: A deliberative format, informed by The Talmud and The Brandeis Brief, that facilitates rich multi-participation and intergenerational information. 

  2. The Case Presentation: A solution oriented deliberative format based on The Medical Case presentation process that facilitates identifying underlying causes and crowdsources treatment for complex situations. 

  3. The Citizen Commission:  A deliberative framework that offers a dynamic, interactive, collaborative process that engages our fellow citizens to address the cultural, social, political challenges 

 

Embracing Advanced Technologies. We integrate cutting-edge technologies, including Large Language Models (LLM), to support our health initiatives and democratize knowledge. These tools are pivotal in navigating technological challenges to fulfill our moonshot.

Health of the Nation is our initiative to provide health based indicators to  monitor and evaluate meaningful outcomes.

  • Salutogenesis Along the Life Course: Our focus is a life course approach to health and well-being, beginning with the critical "First 1000 Days of Life" through to old age. We embrace the salutogenic model to strengthen individual and community health.

  • Salutogenesis in Settings and Environments: We believe our environments shape health. Our initiatives optimize various settings where we live, work, and socialize for well-being, with an emphasis on community-based projects.

  • The Salutogenic Healthcare System: We envision redefining American healthcare by prioritizing equity and sustainability. Our approach treats the whole person and proactively supports comprehensive health.
